Every South Australian knows the name of his Majesty’s ship “Buffalo”. In 1836 it carried the first governor and settlers to establish the colony of South Australia.

Where did it come from? What did it do? Where did it end its life?

During South Australia’s Jubilee year, South Australian film maker Brian Grant travelled to New Zealand with a team of archaeologists and divers to find and survey the wreck. This documentary fills the gaps in graphically explaining the story of the ship – “HMS Buffalo”.
